The sheer beauty of God’s creation is so well shared in the stunning diversity and splendor of our feathered companions.
To truly get what I say, take a pair of binoculars and study the incredible complexity of our feathered companions.
South Africa is host to over 800 species of birds, with over 600 found in Gauteng.
Visiting the UK and exploring their wild areas for avifauna made us realise how lucky we are in South Africa.
I have seen more birds in my garden than I have seen here in the UK.
This is just another reason why I am so grateful to be living in South Africa.
We have a wonderful country and we need to be reminded of the incredible privilege we have of living in such a special place.
I call South Africa home. Let’s be proudly South African.
