Below are some of the frequently asked questions we receive about the Discovery Insure options. If you need to know more about investing or have any questions that you don’t see listed below, please speak to one of our consultants.

You can fill up at any BP or Shell garage, make sure to swipe your Vitality Drive card when paying.

You only need to do your Multipoint Check once a year after it expired. You will need to do the Multipoint check at any Tiger Wheel & Tyre.

Retail value booster pays you 15% more than your car’s retail value in the event of a write-off or theft.

You will always receive your fuel cashback in the 2nd week of the following month.

You can go to a Tiger Wheel & Tyre to collect a new Vitality Drive card. Please remember to link the new card to your policy.

Discovery will not use your DQ-Track data for purposes of approving claims. They will however use the information to verify the time and location of an incident.

Your policy will not cover drains blocked by roots as it is seen as maintenance.

You can choose to write off your vehicle at a lower damage level of 40% or 50% of its insured value.

If you swipe your Vitality Drive card without linking the card to your profile you won’t receive any fuel cashback as Discovery will not be able to track your fuel transactions.

There is no cancellation notice period, you can cancel your policy at any time.

When you are at Tiger Wheel & Tyre tell them you are a Discovery Insure client and provide them with your Policy or ID number. The salesperson will then advise how much discount you qualify for.

To activate the benefit, SMS ‘UBER’ and your ID or passport number to 31347 from the cellphone which you have downloaded and registered the Uber app on. You will receive a confirmation SMS. It will take up to 14 days for your benefit to be activated.

The maximum discount one can qualify for at Tiger Wheel & Tyre is up to 20%
