There was a young father with his toddler at the table next to ours. The little boy was playing with his toys, and Dad was on his phone.
It didn’t take the lad long to get bored, so he started pushing toys onto Dad and into the view of his phone. Dad got annoyed. The boy became confused — “Why is Dad not playing with me?”
The father then called the waiter over and ordered a baby chair. The young lad was now a prisoner in the chair. Dad continued to ignore him.
It was the saddest thing to see. Dad’s phone was more important than his son.
And no, he was not working — he was watching videos.
