There are so many different languages spoken, people from so many different countries and cultures. It really is a smorgasbord of the world’s people—all getting on with their lives. A country accommodating so much diversity.

It seems as though the English are trying to make up for past indiscretions. There’s a quiet awareness, perhaps even a collective effort, to do better.

I observed an Iranian demonstration—peaceful and pleading.
“Please hear us. We are the good guys. Trust our honourable intentions.”
These seemed to be ordinary people, decrying a brutal regime that may have them suppressed.

London will listen to your plea for help—but can the average person on the street make a difference?
He certainly made me think.

It is often the few who force the many to submit to power they cannot control. Or… can we?
